AREA Membership
Organization membership is open for all not-for-profit, governmental and
proprietary organizations/programs and consultants that subscribe to the basic principles
of Re-ED. This is an opportunity to join a growing number of
organizations that recognize the value of embracing this positive, principle-based
philosophy of providing services to troubled children and their families.
Organization membership offers Sponsoring Members and Associate Members the
following benefits:
- Subscriptions to the association newsletter, AREA NEWS, for staff & others.

Discount packages for the AREA biennial conference.
- Re-ED education programs available at reduced cost.
- Information briefs on clinical research, programs and Re-ED practices.
- Administrative briefs on regulatory and political issues.
- Discounts on AREA books, videos, subscriptions and other products.
- Referral service for technical assistance.
- Access to AREA database.
- Certificate of membership.
- A seat on the AREA Board of Directors for
Sponsoring Members.
- Free copy of "Crisis of Care," an award winning documentary that
highlights re-education and examines the mental health system.
- Free copy of
Helping Troubled Children and Youth, published by AREA in 2007.
- 8 hours of consultation provided at cost by an
Association member. This service can be provided for the new member on-site or
at another AREA program site.
Sponsoring and Associate Membership dues are determined by the size of the
organization's budget. Please respond below or call if you are interested in having your
